The UK is a great Superyacht destination for the 2012 Olympics
There will be really good facilities for Superyachts in central London during the Olympics, 2012. We can arrange berthing and moorings for boats up to 200m with no depth or air draft restrictions, in the heart of London and with access to Olympic venues.
We are up to date on what is possible during the Olympics and have a very broad knowledge of operating boats on the Thames – if we don’t know the answer immediately we definitely know someone who will!
Berthing and moorings for boats with LOA up to 200m
- Space for around 50+ Superyachts and 10+ cruise liners
- Up to draft 9m and beam 30m
- Stern to, swinging moorings and alongside/pontoons available
Use of piers along the Thames including for use by tenders
Advice on Thames regulations and authorities including MCA, Port of London, London River Services
Access to local Boatmasters, pilots and river experts
Local logistics of extra crew, accommodation, security, transfers, catering, florists, fuel, waste, deliveries
The airdraft and tides do need to be calculated before passing under the QEII bridge - this 40m yacht went through at high tide and it was quite close!
