The British society events calendar is packed with special events in 2012 including the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Pageant where the Queen will lead a flotilla of 1,000 boats down the Thames. Along with the traditional Chelsea Flower Show, Henley, Wimbledon, Royal Ascot, Silverstone Grand Prix, British Golf Open, Goodwood Festival of Speed, Glyndebourne, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and horse racing across the channel in Deauville.
